Designing an immersive experience that celebrates innovation Worcester Polytechnic Institute · Worcester, MA
The Hall of Luminaries celebrates WPI community members whose accomplishments have made a significant impact. I designed the UX for the interactive experience and led the visual design across the physical space, digital experience, and Luminary Award. Bringing innovation to life
The Hall of Luminaries needed to be more than a wall of names. It needed to communicate the spirit of innovation that defines WPI while giving visitors an engaging way to discover the people and ideas behind the accomplishments.
The result was a connected experience where brand, interaction, physical space, and storytelling work together.

Making discovery part of the experience
I designed the UX for the interactive Luminary Circle, working with Trivium Interactive to create an intuitive physical interaction for exploring the stories and accomplishments of WPI's honorees.
Brand & Environment
Extending the experience beyond the screen
I developed and managed the application of the visual language across the exhibit, connecting the interactive experience with environmental graphics, recognition plaques, and wayfinding.
Luminary Award
Bringing the experience into the physical world
I designed the Luminary Award as an extension of the exhibit's visual identity, translating the concept of illumination into a distinctive physical object for each honoree
